- Conduct research and analysis on training systems, operational environments, and specifications to support Range and Training Programs Division (RTPD) documentation, guidance, and alignment with Training and Education Command (TECOM) plans and policies.
- Oversee and report on training resources, ensuring upgrade, refresh, and disposal actions are properly supported with required manpower, equipment, and funding.
- Develop and maintain data frameworks and validation processes to accurately capture training system utilization, performance, and assessment metrics.
- Identify, track, and assess individual and collective Live, Virtual and Constructive (LVC) training and readiness events across the Fleet Marine Force (FMF) to inform resource allocation and ensure alignment with established Training and Readiness (T&R) standards.
- Draft technical and requirements documents—including Capability Development Documents, Concepts of Employment, Requirements Changes, and Letters of Clarification—by conducting research, validating training performance, and identifying key performance parameters.
- Manage information tasks including researching issues, drafting reports, and maintaining accuracy of data within automated systems and electronic records.
- Prepare and deliver Service and Joint correspondence, briefings, decision memoranda, read‑aheads, and other materials for senior service level and DoW leadership.
- Collaborate with diverse stakeholders, provide technical context to non‑technical audiences, and support governance processes by adjudicating inputs and resolving conflicts within decision packages.
- Build and sustain professional relationships with senior civilian and military leaders; participate in working groups and operational planning teams supporting USMC activities.
- Lead day‑to‑day execution of client efforts, support executive‑level committees, and ensure actions are documented with strategic context; produce recurring progress and impact reports for stakeholders.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Master’s degree preferred
- Attendance at Intermediate Level Service school training required
- Prior service level staff or action officer experience with strong familiarity in Marine Corps operations, training, and the Marine Corps Planning Process.
