Description and Aim

  • MEA Training Manager helps support business by developing, facilitating and supervising training programs covering global mandatory trainings.

Main Responsibilities

  • Take active role in management and coordination of Initial Training period of newly recruited Medical Representatives
  • Coordinate with related departments for training content and documentation
  • Manage and coordinate delivery of soft skills training
  • Manage, monitor and report mandatory certification processes
  • Organize customized training programs requested by BAMs/Country Managers
  • Identify Regional Training Needs and conduct GAP analysis
  • Design and execute annual training plan for MEA region
  • Develop KPIs to evaluate training success
  • Manage Regional Training budget and resources
  • Develop individualized and group training programs
  • Disseminate Company Values, Vision and Mission
  • Select and manage resources including internal employees and training vendors

Field Visit

  • Make field visits and coach Medical Representatives
  • Determine training needs of the FF with help of field visit reports
  • Prepare reports for Area Manager, National Sales Manager and BAMs
  • Participate in planning and implementation of upskilling trainings for FF

Learning Management Systems

  • Coordinate mandatory training activities using company e learning platform
  • Accountable for completing related mandatory training programs on time
  • Ensure complete and timely tracking of all training activities in m Learning
  • Communicate remediation plans to relevant stakeholders

Documentation

  • Monitor training and develop training programs, evaluate results and measure effectiveness
  • Archive training records and keep training records on related systems
  • Conduct participant satisfaction surveys
  • Prepare and share training reports from e learning platform
  • Responsible for annual training plans and report

Company Procedure & Compliance

  • Ensure all educational activities comply with company policies, SOPs, ICH and ethical standards
  • Ensure medical and product information are provided in compliance with Global SOPs
  • Proofread marketing training material content and approve marketing training activities
  • Adhere to all applicable laws and regulations
  • Maintain, back up and archive records under responsibility

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Medicine, Pharmacy, Social Science or equivalent
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Training or L&D within a multinational pharmaceutical company
  • At least 3 years of experience as a Training Manager
  • Familiar with traditional and modern training methods
  • Proficiency in Training policy practices, documentation and implementation
  • Advanced user of Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite
  • Fluent written and spoken Arabic and English
  • French would be a plus
