All about the role:
As part of the Learning Center of Excellence (LCOE), the Operations Trainer plays a critical role in preparing new and existing employees to perform their work safely, efficiently, and with high quality.
You will deliver engaging training through classroom instruction, simulations, and hands‐on learning, ensuring employees gain the skills and confidence needed to succeed on the production floor.
What you’ll do:
In this role, you will be responsible for delivering key training programs that support onboarding, safety, and operational excellence.
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Conduct new hire orientation and onboarding classes.
• Operate and maintain the Training Center to simulate real production processes and provide hands-on practice.
• Deliver required Environment, Health, Safety, and Sustainability (EHS&S) training in alignment with OSHA regulations and ISO standards.
• Deliver quality training such as Standard work (JDS), defect detection, QCP, etc.
• Train and certify new and current employees in Powered Industrial Vehicle (PIV), Cranes, and Aerial Lift for licensing.
• Maintain accurate training records for all courses and certifications.
• Follow up with new employees during their first 30 days to ensure successful transition to their roles.
Who you are:
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years of work experience
• Bilingual English and Spanish required.
• Excellent communication skills and strong comfort speaking in front of groups.
• Basic knowledge of EMS tools, and continuous improvement concepts required.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
