ROLE SUMMARY
The purpose of this role is to deliver Alpine Race training programs, develop athletes' technical and competitive performance, and ensure a safe, engaging, and high-quality coaching experience while promoting Ski Academy standards and objectives.
ROLE PROFILE
Deliver Alpine Race training programs for athletes of various ages and skill levels while maintaining high coaching and customer service standards.
Develop and implement seasonal training plans, performance goals, and athlete development pathways.
Coach athletes to improve skiing techniques, race tactics, physical conditioning, and competitive performance.
Conduct athlete assessments, monitor progress, and provide constructive feedback to support continuous improvement.
Ensure all training sessions are delivered safely and in compliance with operational, health, and safety standards.
Support the planning, organization, and execution of races, competitions, training camps, and academy events.
Build positive relationships with athletes, parents, and guests while providing professional support and guidance.
Promote Alpine Race and Ski Academy programs, support instructor development initiatives, and assist with additional operational duties when required.
REQUIREMENTS
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; qualifications in Sports Coaching, Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related field are preferred.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Alpine Ski Racing, ski coaching, ski instruction, or a related snow sports environment.
- Certified Ski Instructor with a recognized international qualification; ISIA certification is an advantage.
- Strong coaching, leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills with a strong focus on safety and guest experience.
- Fluent English communication skills and flexibility to work shifts, weekends, public holidays, and travel when required.
