You’ll work with data, models, and reports that help colleagues understand catastrophe risk. This is a role where you can learn on the job, ask questions, and keep building your skills with help from experienced colleagues.
You’ll prepare model inputs using SQL and Excel, then check and edit the data so it’s ready for modelling. You’ll help analyse exposures, apply the right modelling assumptions, and make sure the model settings are correct so the results reflect the risk as closely as possible.
You’ll also run proprietary models, carry out sensitivity checks, and turn outputs into clear reports. That could mean summary reports, maps, and visual views of the data using tools such as iFM, WorkFlowManager, SpatialKey, and ArcGIS. When needed, you’ll share progress with the onshore lead analyst, raise any important points, and ask for feedback so work keeps moving in the right direction.
