About the Role
Rentokil Initial is seeking a Pest Control Technician to cover Thirsk and surrounding areas. No prior experience required as comprehensive training is provided. Full-time, permanent role with a basic salary of £27,669 per annum and expected OTE of £32,000.

Responsibilities
- Inspecting customer premises for signs of pests and identifying potential risks
- Tackling pest problems by cleaning and removing evidence of pest behaviour
- Offering advice to customers on maintenance and hygiene of premises
- Completing accurate reports after every visit
- Providing exceptional customer service and upholding a professional image
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence held for more than two years with no more than six penalty points
- Educated to GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English at level C (Grade 4) or above is advantageous
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Flexibility with working patterns
- May be required to pass a DBS check

The Role
- Your role as a Pest Control Technician will involve covering a dedicated geographical area and providing support to our customers by resolving their pest issues.
- Key responsibilities include inspecting customer premises for signs of pests, tackling pest problems, offering advice, completing reports, and providing exceptional customer service.
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence held for more than two years, with no more than six penalty points.
- Educated to GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English at level C (Grade 4) or above is advantageous.
- Demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Flexibility with working patterns to support business needs.
- You may be required to pass a DBS check depending on the role.
