Role Overview
Prepare 2D structural and fabrication drawings for Pre-Engineered Buildings using CADD.
The role is open to fresh graduates with CADD training and candidates with 1–2 years of relevant CAD drafting experience.
Work Responsibilities
- Create detailed shop drawings, erection drawings, and general arrangement drawings using CADD.
- Collaborate with senior engineers and detailers on project requirements and technical standards.
- Prepare the Bill of Materials for PEB structural components.
- Ensure drawings are accurate, specification-compliant, and aligned with quality standards.
- Coordinate with team members to help maintain project timelines and resolve drawing-related issues.
- Continue developing skills and stay updated on PEB detailing practices and CADD.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Good knowledge of CADD and willingness to learn advanced CAD tools.
- Basic understanding of structural engineering concepts, steel structures, and construction drawings.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, communication, and proactive problem-solving.
- Familiarity with industry standards and codes, or willingness to learn them.
- Basic Excel proficiency for data management and simple calculations.
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
- 1–2 years of CAD drafting experience is preferred, while freshers with strong CAD skills and relevant training may apply.
