Purpose of the Role
Lead and manage the Trainee Adviser Programme from recruitment through Competent Adviser Status.
Own the academy and provide a consistent, high-quality development experience for adviser trainees.
Maintain standards of advice quality, operational excellence, governance, and commercial capability.
Programme Leadership
- Lead the Amicus Adviser Programme from recruitment through Competent Adviser Status.
- Design, coordinate, and continuously improve the Amicus Adviser Academy with the Executive Sponsor and People and Culture team.
- Deliver induction and classroom-based training.
- Develop and maintain academy curriculum and learning materials with the Learning and Development Specialist.
- Ensure consistency across all trainee cohorts.
People Management and Coaching
- Act as formal line manager for Trainee Advisers, Associate Advisers, and Consultants.
- Conduct regular one-to-one meetings and complete probation, performance, and development reviews.
- Manage annual leave, sickness absence, wellbeing, promotions, and career progression.
- Identify and manage performance concerns alongside Pod Leaders.
