Perform preventative maintenance and general repairs on tractor and trailer units to company and Department of Transportation (DOT) standards.

Perform preventative maintenance on tractor and trailer equipment including routine technical repairs and completing repair orders.
Utilize appropriate resources such as parts manual and computer, service bulletins and other resources to research problems and determine solutions.
Ensure proper documentation is complete, including permits, repair orders, filing, etc.
Performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment and provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production.
Prepares and sets up machinery for scheduled productions runs.
Performs mechanical work including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of packaging and production machines. Responsible for PM‘s of all plant equipment.
Reads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
Attends and participates in monthly safety meetings.
Wears required personal protection equipment (PPE).
Attends trainings as needed and completes required testing with sufficient results.
