Role Overview
The Trailer Driver is responsible for safely and efficiently transporting vehicles using a heavy-duty trailer.
The role includes timely delivery, vehicle-condition maintenance, and compliance with traffic and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate trailer trucks to transport vehicles safely and on time to designated locations.
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections before and after trips.
- Load, secure, and unload vehicles properly.
- Follow road safety regulations and company policies.
- Maintain trip logs, delivery documents, and fuel records.
- Report vehicle defects, accidents, and delays immediately.
- Coordinate schedules and routes with dispatch and operations teams.
- Maintain cleanliness and perform basic maintenance on the assigned vehicle.
Skills and Qualifications
- Valid heavy vehicle driving license, including License 4; the title also references License 6.
- Proven experience as a trailer driver or in heavy transport operations.
- Good knowledge of road safety rules and UAE traffic regulations.
- Ability to handle long-distance driving and flexible working hours.
- Basic communication and reporting skills.
- Physically fit and able to support loading and unloading when required.
- Responsible, punctual, and safety-focused attitude.
Compensation
- Pay is AED 2,500–3,500 per month.
