Responsibilities
- Lead the development and review of Traffic Management Plans (TMPs), Detour Plans, and Temporary Traffic Control Plans for infrastructure and road projects.
- Conduct traffic impact assessments, traffic capacity analysis, and operational assessments to evaluate detour effectiveness.
- Provide technical oversight during implementation of traffic detours and temporary traffic management measures.
- Coordinate with clients, government authorities, traffic police, and contractors to obtain necessary approvals for detour and traffic management plans.
- Ensure all traffic management and detour plans comply with national regulations, applicable standards, and project requirements.
- Prepare and review traffic management reports, detour drawings, technical specifications, and method statements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or related discipline
- Minimum 15 years of professional experience in traffic engineering, traffic management, and detour planning
- Proven experience in major road, infrastructure, or urban development projects
- Proficiency in traffic analysis software such as SYNCHRO, SIDRA, VISSIM, or equivalent
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and engineering design tools
- Master's degree in Transportation Engineering or Traffic Engineering is preferred
- Professional membership with a recognized engineering institution is preferred

Overview
- The Senior Traffic and Detour Engineer will serve as a senior technical specialist responsible for the planning, design, review, and implementation of traffic management and detour strategies for major road and infrastructure projects.
Your role
- Traffic Management and Detour Planning: Lead the development and review of Traffic Management Plans (TMPs), Detour Plans, and Temporary Traffic Control Plans.
- Traffic Engineering Analysis: Conduct traffic impact assessments, traffic capacity analysis, and operational assessments.
- Project Implementation and Site Coordination: Provide technical oversight during implementation of traffic detours and temporary traffic management measures.
- Stakeholder Coordination and Approvals: Coordinate with clients, government authorities, traffic police, and contractors.

Qualifications
