- Conduct traffic surveys, volume counts, speed studies, and level‑of‑service (LOS) analysis
- Review contractor proposals for traffic control and temporary road layouts
- Ensure traffic management measures comply with regulations and project specifications
- Support planning of lane closures and road safety arrangements
- Monitor site implementation of traffic control devices and safety measures
- Participate in coordination meetings with consultants and authorities
- Prepare documentation, reports, and engineering recommendations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Traffic Engineering
- 5–10 years traffic engineering experience
- Strong knowledge of traffic modeling tools (e.g., SIDRA, Synchro—optional)
- Familiar with MUTCD and local traffic safety regulations
- Strong design, reporting, and coordination skills

- The Traffic Engineer supports the preparation, review, and implementation of traffic engineering designs, traffic control plans, and safety measures for road infrastructure projects.
