About the Role
WSP International LLC-Qatar Branch is seeking a Traffic Engineer for the GEC Supervision department. The successful candidate will contribute to the GEC project by conducting traffic analysis, road safety assessments, and managing traffic plans for efficient and safe transportation systems.

Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough traffic analyses and studies to understand patterns and trends.
- Perform road safety assessments and identify potential hazards or risks.
- Develop and implement traffic management plans to optimize traffic flow.
- Collaborate with project teams to integrate traffic engineering solutions.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of traffic systems and make recommendations for improvements.
- Stay updated with the latest traffic engineering technologies and best practices.
- Prepare reports and documentation for traffic-related projects.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and other team members.
- Ensure compliance with local and international traffic engineering standards and regulations.
- Participate in project meetings and contribute to the overall project management process.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Traffic Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in traffic engineering or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of traffic analysis techniques and road safety principles.
- Proficiency in using traffic engineering software and tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with local traffic regulations and standards in Qatar.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and industry trends.
- Valid professional engineering license or the ability to obtain one.
- MMUP registration is mandatory.
