Role overview
A leading trading firm is hiring a Trading Application Support Engineer for its Dubai team.
The role combines hands-on application support and engineering across business-critical trading platforms and works directly with portfolio managers and traders.
The role
- Own production trading applications, monitoring, and incident resolution.
- Develop and enhance internal trading tools and applications.
- Support proprietary and vendor trading platforms.
- Work directly with portfolio managers, traders, and technology teams.
- Provide later-hours support for US market coverage when required.
Candidate profile
- Three to five years of relevant experience.
- Background within a buy-side firm or investment bank.
- Experience in trading application support or production engineering.
- Strong Python and SQL skills are preferred.
- Strong technical fundamentals and an entrepreneurial, ownership-driven mindset.
- Exposure to FlexTrade, Tradeweb, BidFX, or Trading Technologies is beneficial.
