Shop Her Haven is seeking an experienced and strategic **Trade Finance Manager** to join our finance team in Doha, Qatar.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing trade finance operations, optimizing working capital, overseeing import/export financial transactions, and ensuring compliance with banking and international trade regulations.
This role is ideal for a finance professional with strong expertise in trade finance, banking instruments, and global commerce who can support business growth through efficient financial structuring and risk management.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end trade finance operations including letters of credit (LCs), bank guarantees, and documentary collections
- Oversee import and export financing transactions and ensure timely execution
- Liaise with banks and financial institutions to secure optimal trade finance facilities
- Monitor cash flow and working capital requirements related to trade activities
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, banking policies, and company procedures
- Prepare trade finance reports, exposure analysis, and financial documentation
- Support procurement and supply chain teams with financial structuring for imports
- Manage foreign exchange exposure and support hedging strategies when required
- Review and verify trade documentation including invoices, shipping documents, and contracts
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce financing costs in trade operations
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in trade finance or corporate banking
- Strong knowledge of international trade finance instruments (LCs, SBLCs, guarantees, etc.)
- Experience working with banks and financial institutions in trade operations
- Familiarity with import/export processes and customs documentation
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial analysis skills
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience in retail, trading, or multinational companies is an advantage
