Tool Setting Technician - FT or PT

Job Position Summary

You must have

• A high School Diploma or Equivalent. Tech School preferred.
• 5+ yrs Experience with CNC Machines
• Mechanical Aptitude
• Strong attention to details
• Organizational skills.
• Basic computer skills
• Time Management Skills
• The ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and company operation sheets.
• The ability to use inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, indicators.
• The ability to set up CNC machines according to assigned job.
• The ability to effectively communicate both written and verbally.

In your role, you will

• Follow Safety culture and wear PPE when required.
• Set up machines according to assigned job using hand tools such as wrenches, socket sets and coil handling materials.
• Follow procedures and information on routing sheet for each specific job.
• Assure material meets correct specifications of each job as stated on routing sheet.
• Read and follow blueprints to meet specifications.
• Inspect first pieces for quality assurance.
• Set machine monitoring system according to proper mode of job
• Use inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, indicators, etc. as required.
