- Build and repair tooling using machine shop tools and measuring instruments.
- Work from blueprints and sketches to create or modify tools, dies and jigs.
- Set up and operate all tool room equipment.
- Assist production with problem solving on tooling issues.
- Safety conscious to include proper use of P.P.E
- Other duties as assigned by management.
Education/Experience: 4 years plus proven experience working as a Tool and Die Maker in a manufacturing environment, along with experience on stamping dies.
Journeyman’s Tool and Die Maker’s card or certification a plus.
