Title Senior Systems Infrastructure Engineer

Main Purpose of Job

Key Responsibility Areas

• Document and improve infrastructure systems architecture.
• Maintain, monitor, update, and secure infrastructure systems equipment and services.
• Identify, diagnose, and resolve systems-related incidents and problems.
• Own and support backup governance, disaster recovery, business continuity, cloud, identity, and hybrid platform operations.
• Support ITIL governance, CMDB accuracy, knowledge sharing, vendor governance, procurement input, automation, project delivery, and cross-functional collaboration.

Essential Education

• Relevant bachelor's degree in computer science or an ICT-related field.
• Microsoft infrastructure certification such as MCSE, MCSA, or a modern Microsoft role-based equivalent.

Essential Experience

• At least 3 years of experience in an ICT systems support and design environment.
• For senior-level delivery at enterprise scale, 10 or more years of systems or infrastructure experience is preferred.

Desired Education

• ITIL Foundation, VCP, CCNA, RHCE, Dell, IBM, Fujitsu, or NetApp vendor certifications are desirable.
• Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Solutions Architect, Windows Server Hybrid Administrator, or equivalent certifications are desirable.

Desired Experience

• Three to five years of experience with backup and disaster recovery, hardware, virtualization technologies, and relevant monitoring tools is desirable.
• Experience with hybrid cloud, Azure, Windows, Linux, VMware, Hyper-V, storage, security hardening, automation, and enterprise healthcare operations is preferred.

Required Job Skills and Knowledge

• InterSystems IRIS mirroring, distributed caching, and failovers.
• InterSystems product patches, releases, and builds.
• Systems management and security in the InterSystems IRIS domain.
• TrackCare-based infrastructure and platform.
• Verbal and written communication skills in English.
