Title Nursing Unit Manager - OPD

Role Overview

Key Responsibility Areas

• Provide strong leadership and management guidance to the team.
• Ensure evidence-based patient care practices follow clinical standards.
• Develop employees and create an environment that enables team engagement.
• Manage allocated clinical and non-clinical resources in a cost-efficient and effective manner.
• Monitor compliance with legislative, regulatory, and clinical standards to support continuous quality improvement.

Education

• A Bachelor's degree in Nursing or Diploma in Nursing from a recognised or accredited nursing institute is essential.
• A Master of Science in Nursing or related healthcare field is desired.

Experience

• At least 3–5 years of senior nursing experience is required, with OPD experience preferred.
• At least five years of senior nursing leadership experience is required.

Job Skills and Knowledge

• Ability to implement all five stages of the Scientific Nursing Process.
• Presentation skills and effective meeting management.
• Knowledge of UAE Labour Law and the UAE healthcare regulatory framework.
• Computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Knowledge of cost management, quality management, governance, risk management, and stock control.
• Nursing functional competence and ability to demonstrate and assess relevant clinical procedures.
• Workforce planning and scheduling knowledge.
