Title Dental Assistant

Main Purpose of Job

Key Responsibility Areas

• Assist the dentist in delivering quality dental services according to clinical standards and relevant legislation.
• Identify, prevent, and manage patient safety risks in accordance with policies, procedures, and relevant legislation.
• Facilitate positive patient experiences by creating a conducive environment guided by hospital leadership.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of dental interventions according to company standards and legal requirements.
• Use required stock and equipment efficiently according to Mediclinic guidelines.

Required Education and Experience

• A DDS, DMD, BDS, dental assistant or dental nursing diploma, or a Registered Nurse or Assistant Nurse qualification meeting licensure criteria is required.
• At least two years of experience as a qualified Dental Assistant is required.
• Experience as a Dental Assistant in the UAE is desired.

Required Skills and Knowledge

• Basic Arabic language skills are required.
• Comprehensive knowledge of patient safety standards is required.
• Computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications are required.
• Verbal and written communication skills in English are required.
