Responsibilities
- Install floor and wall tiles, including ceramic, porcelain, marble, granite, mosaic, and large format porcelain slabs
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, waterproofing, and applying screed or adhesives
- Measure, mark, cut, and shape tiles accurately using manual and power tools
- Install tiles according to shop drawings, layouts, and project specifications
- Create precise tile patterns and maintain consistent alignment, spacing, and levels
- Perform 45 degree mitre cuts and high quality finishing around corners and edges
- Apply grout, silicone sealant, and finishing materials neatly
- Repair or replace damaged tiles without affecting surrounding finishes
- Maintain a clean and safe work area while following company safety procedures
- Coordinate with supervisors and other trades to complete work efficiently
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of UAE/GCC experience as a Tile Mason
- Experience in interior fit out, villas, apartments, offices, hotels, or commercial projects
- Strong knowledge of tile adhesives, grout, waterproofing systems, and installation techniques
- Skilled in using tile cutters, grinders, laser levels, and other tiling tools
- Ability to read drawings and follow layout plans
- Good attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Physically fit and able to work on construction sites
