Role Overview
Drill and Hammer General Maintenance is seeking skilled and experienced Tile Masons / Carpenters for its maintenance team in Abu Dhabi.
Job Description
- Carry out tile installation, repair, replacement, and maintenance work.
- Remove and replace damaged or broken tiles.
- Prepare surfaces before tile installation, including leveling and cleaning.
- Apply adhesive, grout, and sealant properly.
- Perform wall and floor tile work with proper alignment and finishing.
- Carry out carpentry repairs and maintenance for doors, cabinets, wardrobes, shelves, and furniture.
- Repair, adjust, and replace damaged wooden parts and fittings.
- Take measurements and ensure accurate cutting and installation of materials.
- Perform general maintenance work related to the assigned trade.
- Maintain workmanship, cleanliness, and safety standards at the worksite.
- Coordinate with supervisors and other technicians to complete assigned jobs on time.
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of tile installation and finishing work.
- Skill in tile cutting, leveling, grouting, and sealing.
- Good knowledge of different tile types and adhesives.
- For carpentry work, knowledge of wood cutting, installation, repair, and finishing.
- Ability to read measurements and work accurately according to site requirements.
