Your responsibilities for this opportunity
- Fostering trust with our people, customers and community by providing expert advice and service that ensure we effectively communicate and engage audiences with our business strategy and its delivery across South Australia, every day.
- You will:
- Coordinate and oversee Third Party Works, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to agreed outcomes.
- Act as the key point of contact for Third Party Works, providing advice and support throughout the project lifecycle.
- Identify and resolve issues, remove roadblocks and escalate risks where required.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, contractors and external stakeholders.
- Monitor project progress, reporting, governance and invoicing to ensure effective delivery.
- Deliver a high level of customer service and contribute to a collaborative, solutions-focused team culture.
- Collaborate with third parties across South Australia to build strong working relationships and deliver targeted presentations that improve understanding and compliance with SA Water's technical standards.
- Provide guidance and support to internal and external stakeholders following damage to SA Water infrastructure resulting from third-party works activities.
- Your success in this role will come from:
- A tertiary qualification in Engineering, Project Management or Business Management, or extensive relevant experience.
- A current Australian Driver’s Licence.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Experience managing multiple priorities and delivering outcomes within set timeframes.
- The ability to build relationships, liaise and negotiate effectively with a range of stakeholders.
- Sound analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess and develop practical solutions.
- A sound understanding of asset management principles and network infrastructure standards.
