- Work with a Registered Nurse/Operating Department Practitioner delivering high quality care to patients within the theatre environment
- Carry out delegated clinical tasks and responsibilities to a high standard
- Assist in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care in the perioperative environment
- Measure, monitor and record patient’s vital signs, reporting adverse signs immediately
- Take immediate action and respond appropriately to uncontrolled symptoms of pain, nausea, etc.

- Completed 2 year Trainee Nursing Associate programme with level 5 foundation degree
- NMC registration
- Ability to work as part of a designated theatre team

Job Overview
- Exciting opportunity for a Theatre Nursing Associate in Recovery at Liverpool Women's NHS Foundation Trust.

Theatre Nursing Associate Will
- Work with a Registered Nurse/Operating Department Practitioner delivering high quality care to patients within the theatre environment.
- Carry out delegated clinical tasks and responsibilities to a high standard.

- Work as part of the team delivering care that focuses on the direct care needs of each individual patient.
Recovery Responsibilities
- Assist in the provision of assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the care of patients in the perioperative environment.
- Maintain an understanding of the Nursing Process and assist the registered practitioner in on going assessments.
- Be familiar with trust documentation or electronic records to record patient care.
- Measure, monitor and record patient’s vital signs, reporting adverse signs immediately.
- Take immediate action and respond appropriately to uncontrolled symptoms of pain, nausea, thirst, etc.
Qualifications
- Successfully completed a 2 year Trainee Nursing Associate programme with level 5 foundation degree
- NMC registration
