- Protection relay testing knowledge
- Familiarity with test equipment
- Computer literacy

Role Overview
- Responsible for planning, executing, monitoring, and controlling substation testing & commissioning activities.
- Ensuring quality work as per company standards and project requirements.
Experience Required
- Minimum 3–4 years of onsite experience in substation testing & commissioning.
Key Responsibilities
- Site visits to understand project requirements.
- Preparation of testing & commissioning schedules, method statements, and HSE documentation.
- Testing & commissioning of substation equipment as per approved procedures.

Technical Expertise Required
- Current Transformers, Voltage Transformers, CVTs.
- Cables.
- Switchgear (ACB, VCB, GIS, AIS, isolators, earth switches, MCCB, busbars).
- Power transformers.
- Control & protection schemes (CT/VT injection tests, trip logic, interlocks, synchronization, auto reclose, stability and sensitivity tests).
Qualification
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
Additional Skills
- Knowledge of power systems and electrical engineering.
- Protection relay testing knowledge.
- Familiarity with test equipment.
- Computer literacy.
