Job Description

AECOM is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Testing and Commissioning Engineer in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The role ensures systems, equipment, and installations meet design specifications, performance standards, and regulatory requirements.

The engineer will verify functionality, resolve technical issues, and document commissioning activities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, execute, and document testing and commissioning plans aligned with project specifications and industry standards.
  • Perform systematic testing and pre-commissioning inspections of equipment, systems, and installations.
  • Calibrate instruments, analyze test results, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate corrective actions.
  • Prepare commissioning reports and maintain documentation, test certificates, and equipment certifications.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols, environmental regulations, and company policies.
  • Communicate findings to stakeholders and support transition to operations through knowledge transfer and training.

Qualifications

  • Ten years of experience in testing and commissioning industrial systems, equipment, or infrastructure projects.
  • Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, commissioning procedures, and quality assurance protocols.
  • Technical troubleshooting and systematic problem-solving proficiency.
  • Excellent organizational, documentation, communication, and technical reporting skills.
  • Familiarity with ISO, API, ASME, or equivalent industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience with test equipment, calibration, data analysis, electrical or mechanical systems, and project management software.
  • Knowledge of safety standards and ability to coordinate with multiple departments.
  • Automation and control systems familiarity, commissioning certifications or training, and large-scale infrastructure experience are preferred.

Onboarding

  • New hires are required to attend an in-person Day 1 onboarding at an AECOM office location as a condition of employment.
