Responsibilities
- Perform electrical testing and commissioning of systems and equipment, ensuring compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and project requirements
- Prepare test plans, execute functional and performance tests, and document results
- Coordinate with project managers, design teams, contractors, and clients to resolve issues
- Troubleshoot electrical systems, identify root causes of faults, and implement corrective actions
- Support handover procedures and prepare technical reports
- Contribute to continuous improvement of testing and commissioning methodologies
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or closely related discipline
- Experience as Commissioning Engineer, including commissioning of substations, power plants, or industrial facilities
- Strong skills in Electrical Testing and Testing of power and control systems
- Troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and resolving electrical system faults
- Solid foundation in Electrical Engineering, including power systems, protection, and relevant standards
- Experience with large infrastructure, power, or energy projects, preferably in Middle East or international environments
- Familiarity with applicable codes and standards (such as IEC, IEEE) and safety regulations
- Strong analytical, documentation, and reporting skills
- Ability to work collaboratively on site with multidisciplinary teams
- Proficiency in English; additional language skills beneficial
