About the Role
Tata Electronics is looking for a Test Support Maintenance Technician to establish product test processes and maintain test equipment in an electronics manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include installing and debugging test equipment, developing test processes, and ensuring product quality.

Responsibilities
- Install, debug and accept new test equipment
- Maintain test equipment and solve problems concerning test equipment and test process to support production
- Ensure product quality requirements are taken care of in the defined work area
- Draft work instructions & procedures, manage and update technical files
- Develop the test process to reduce test cycle time
- Draft training material and conduct training for operators
- Perform downtime analysis, troubleshooting of tester and product, issue tracking, contingency planning, backup solutions, improvements, cost saving
- Perform tester validation, ensure all products meet quality standards through rigorous testing
- Improve test yield, direct test equipment troubleshooting, PM
- Set up line, edit new program, order new fixture and check it, verify new product line
- Develop test method, reduce test time, improve capacity
- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency (OEE, MTBF, MTTR, effective spare management)
Requirements
- Diploma/BE/BTECH/BCA/BSc
- 2 to 15 years of relevant experience
- Professional knowledge of Electronics / Mechanics
- Sound ICT Principles
- ICT Programming knowledge
- Basics of Components Actives and Passives
- Debugging and Analytical ability
- Thorough Knowledge of Quality tools (Cpk, G R & R, PFMEA)
