Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Python Automation Engineer with strong expertise in desktop-based application automation and hands-on experience using TestComplete . The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of the Capital Markets domain , including trading systems, order management, and settlement processes. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining automation frameworks for complex desktop applications used in financial environments
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop robust automation frameworks for desktop-based applications using Python and TestComplete .
- Create, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for end-to-end workflows in trading or capital market applications.
- Collaborate with business analysts and QA teams to understand functional requirements and translate them into automation requirements.
- Perform functional, regression, integration , and UI automation testing .
- Analyze automation test results, detect defects, and work with developers to ensure timely resolution.
- Enhance automation coverage and optimize test execution efficiency.
- Participate in sprint planning, estimation, and Agile ceremonies.
- Ensure high-quality documentation of test cases, scripts, and automation processes
