Skills we are looking for
- We are looking for superb and enthusiastic Test Engineering Manager who can build up the test team to push the boundaries not just on engineering the best quality but also re-engineering our approach to building and testing software. We expect you to have a love and passion for testing, new technology and have a solid understanding of testing web solutions using automation tools and approaches. As a Test Engineering Manager you will be accountable and responsible for testing practices and capability across our engineering teams, as well as line management of Test Engineers.
- Demonstrable experience of leading a test team in a matrix operating model
- Highly proficient in testing distributed web based solutions including web services
- Good knowledge of Agile development practices and lean testing approaches
- Detailed knowledge of test processes, methodologies and techniques including Manual, Exploratory and Automated testing
- Good understanding of major browsers and browser development tools for testing purposes
- Proficient with test tools including test management, performance and automation tools
- Quality first mind-set with a strong focus on NFRs
- ISTQB certification in Software Testing
- Advanced skill and ability to coach/guide/influence others in testing practices
