Role Overview
The Test Engineer develops and executes factory acceptance testing for medium-voltage switchgear.
The role supports protection and control applications using S&C and third-party Intelligent Electronic Devices.
Work Arrangement
- The work arrangement is onsite.
Compensation
- The estimated annual base salary range is $79,970 to $105,966.08.
- The position may be eligible for an annual incentive plan with a target bonus of 5% of annual base earnings.
Key Responsibilities
- Review customer requirements and finalize relay and automation requirements with design engineers.
- Develop logic diagrams and verify schematic drawings.
- Develop, execute, and document factory acceptance test procedures for integrated switchgear and devices.
- Host customers during factory acceptance testing at company locations.
- Provide proposal cost estimates and technical input.
- Provide post-commissioning support by telephone or Microsoft Teams.
- Resolve testing issues and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Apply standards, communication protocols, and current technology to projects.
