Role Overview
Test Automation Architect role serving as the technical visionary for robust, scalable automated testing frameworks.
The role increasingly uses AI to improve test generation, predictive analytics, and self-healing scripts.
The position supports continuous testing and faster delivery through CI/CD integration.
Responsibilities
- Define and govern the enterprise-wide automated testing framework architecture.
- Develop test strategies, evaluate tools, and improve QA processes.
- Integrate intelligent and self-healing test pipelines into CI/CD.
- Drive AI and machine learning adoption for test generation and predictive analytics.
- Establish standards for unit, regression, and integration test suites.
- Standardize QA tooling such as Xray, Katalon, and Playwright.
- Set automation coverage goals and oversee complex system integrations.
- Align testing strategy with product goals and stakeholder requirements.
- Mentor team members on automation architecture and coding excellence.
- Review automation code and architectural patterns.
- Support troubleshooting and resolution of complex production defects.
- Define KPIs, reporting, test artifact management, and root cause analysis.
