Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of field sales executives to achieve individual and team sales targets within the assigned territory.
- Develop and execute territory-specific sales strategies aligned with organizational goals and market dynamics.
- Conduct regular field visits to client locations, financial institutions, and partner networks to drive product penetration and client acquisition.
- Manage end-to-end sales cycles for banking products including Business Loans (BL), Personal Loans (PL), and Loan Against Property (LAP), ensuring accurate documentation and compliance.
- Collaborate with credit, operations, and finance teams to ensure timely loan processing, documentation verification, and disbursement.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, client referrals, and strategic partnerships.
- Maintain detailed records of client interactions, sales pipelines, and performance metrics using CRM tools.
- Deliver regular performance reports and insights to senior management on sales trends, market feedback, and competitive analysis.
- Conduct training sessions and onboarding for new field sales personnel to ensure consistency in product knowledge and sales execution.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines, internal policies, and KYC/AML compliance during all customer interactions and documentation processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA in Marketing or Sales is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in field sales within the financial services or banking industry.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets in loan product sales (BL, PL, LAP) with strong knowledge of credit assessment and documentation.
- In-depth understanding of banking operations, financial product structuring, and compliance protocols.
- Exceptional customer handling and relationship management skills with a consultative sales approach.
