About the Role
Flanagan Foodservice is seeking an outgoing, tenacious Territory Manager to grow sales and margin dollars within a designated territory in Ottawa. You will build strong customer relationships, develop individualized sales plans, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer success.

Responsibilities
- Grow sales and margin dollars within designated territory by increasing business with new and existing customers
- Provide individualized sales plans identifying product lines that best fit customer needs
- Proactively identify, pursue, and maintain a pipeline of potential customers through prospecting, networking, and referrals
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, addressing inquiries and concerns
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless customer experience
- Analyze market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activity to identify sales opportunities
- Participate in industry events and conferences to promote company products
- Develop and execute individual territory sales strategy to meet revenue goals
Requirements
- Previous foodservice experience
- Valid Ontario Class G driver's license and use of personal vehicle
- Previous sales experience with strong negotiation skills and proven track record
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple accounts
- Proficient computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office
- Ability to execute individual and company business growth plans

Key Responsibilities
- Grow sales and margin dollars within a designated territory by increasing business with new and existing customers.
- Provide individualized sales plan by identifying product lines which best fit our customer including advertising, promotions, etc.
- Proactively identify, pursue, and maintain a constant pipeline of potential customers via prospecting, networking and referral activities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers, addressing inquiries, concerns, and product needs.
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams including Warehouse, Transportation, Customer Relations, Procurement, Accounts Receivables, and Category Management.
- Analyze market and industry trends, customer preferences, and competitor activity to identify sales opportunities.
- Participate in industry events, networking, and conferences to build connections and promote company products.
- Provide support for the management of credits and accounts receivables.
- Develop and execute individual territory sales strategy to meet or exceed revenue goals.
- Complete and keep up to date on all Health & Safety, Food Safety and Quality Assurance training.
- Adherence to all Health & Safety, Food Safety and WHMIS practices.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Previous Foodservice experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid Ontario Class G Driver’s license and use of personal vehicle during performance of duties.
- Previous sales experience, strong negotiation skills, and a proven sales track record.
- Strong organizational skills, with ability to manage multiple accounts and competing priorities.
- Superior level of experience providing distribution solutions and delivering customer satisfaction.
- Proficient computer skills, and experience using Microsoft Office products.
- Ability to execute individual and company business growth plans.
Unique Requirements
- Class G Driver’s license and use of personal vehicle for work related travel 80% of the time.
- Flexible to participate in occasional work activities outside of regular business hours including sales conferences and meetings.
