Role Scope
The position combines terminal supervision and terminal operator responsibilities.
The work covers tank farm, cargo handling, product quality, safety, reporting, and equipment operations.
Terminal Supervisor Responsibilities
- Manage shipments, tanker loading and offloading, vessel berthing and planning, and product blending.
- Complete operational checklists and reports for terminal activities.
- Maintain product quality and monitor bulk tank stocks.
- Propose procedures to improve operational quality and safety.
- Assist the Operations Manager, Projects, and Maintenance teams.
- Support Job Safety Analysis and inspect work-site activities in hazardous areas.
- Supervise inspection of firefighting facilities and emergency response equipment.
- Help develop emergency response procedures and evacuation plans.
- Conduct daily toolbox training.
- Prepare weekly and monthly operations and HSE reports.
Terminal Operator Responsibilities
- Review daily activity plans with the Terminal Supervisor.
- Perform container loading and offloading and supervise flexi setting.
- Inspect and test hoses and pumps before operation.
- Load and unload products according to procedures and safety guidelines.
