Role Overview
The Terminal Manager leads the 24/7 operational functions of the terminal and oversees the entire terminal team.
The role supports the Regional Manager with operational goals, growth, profitability, and medium- and long-term strategic planning.
Daily Operations and Quality
- Direct daily facility operations and provide service to the shipping public.
- Manage terminal quality processes, including non-conformance reporting, training, customer service reviews, and shipper specification reviews.
- Maintain procedures and documentation for transloading, safety, environmental, maintenance, sanitation, and job tasks.
- Oversee terminal maintenance, preventive maintenance, document control, monthly reporting, and issue escalation.
- Complete customer, shipper, and daily, weekly, or monthly operational reports.
