Key Responsibilities
- Study and analyse tender documents, RFPs, BOQs, and client specifications thoroughly
- Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for civil and marine construction projects
- Develop and compile complete technical and commercial proposal packages
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and operations teams to gather inputs for bids
- Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive quotations
- Review drawings, specifications, and the scope of work to ensure accurate pricing
- Track and manage tender deadlines and submission schedules efficiently
- Maintain an organised database of submitted tenders, rates, and bid outcomes
- Support post-tender clarifications, negotiations, and contract award processes
- Ensure all proposals comply with client requirements and company standards
Requirements
- Bachelor s Degree in Civil Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Tendering / Proposal Engineering
- Proven experience in civil and/or marine construction projects
- Strong knowledge of estimation techniques, cost control, and tendering procedures
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and BOQs
- Excellent analytical, numerical, and report-writing skills
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and Word
- Good communication and coordination skills across multidisciplinary teams
- Experience working with GCC/Qatar-based contractors is a strong advantage
