Responsibilities
- Manage incoming and outgoing calls for guests and internal departments
- Operate the hotel switchboard, promptly answering calls and directing inquiries to appropriate team members
- Provide accurate information about hotel services and facilities
- Record and relay messages, handle guest requests, and support customer service by resolving basic issues or escalating as needed
- Maintain professional phone etiquette, update contact lists, coordinate with front office and other hotel departments
- Follow Marriott standards for communication and guest satisfaction
- Adhere to safety and security procedures and support smooth communication flow throughout the hotel
Requirements
- Strong phone etiquette and communication skills, with a clear, polite, and professional speaking manner
- Experience as a switchboard operator or with switchboard systems, including handling multiple lines efficiently
- Background in customer support or guest services, with the ability to manage inquiries and requests effectively
- Ability to work on site in Jeddah on a full time basis, including flexibility for shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Proficiency in basic computer systems and hotel software; previous hospitality experience is an advantage
- Fluency in English; Arabic language skills or additional languages are highly beneficial
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to remain calm under pressure
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in hospitality, customer service, or call center operations is a plus

- The Telephone Operator Agent is a full time, on site role located in Jeddah, responsible for managing incoming and outgoing calls for guests and internal departments.
