Role Overview
Contract Telecommunications Specialist role supporting the design, implementation, and maintenance of telecommunications systems and infrastructure.
The position focuses on network architecture, system integration, troubleshooting, and network performance for enterprise clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and optimize telecommunications networks, including VoIP, SIP, and PSTN systems.
- Integrate telecommunications solutions with existing IT infrastructure in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Perform network monitoring, diagnostics, and issue resolution to minimize downtime and maximize reliability.
- Configure and manage routers, switches, gateways, and other telecommunications hardware.
- Document network configurations, policies, and procedures for internal and external stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience in telecommunications engineering or a related field.
- Proficiency in VoIP, SIP, and PSTN protocols and technologies.
- Strong knowledge of network architecture, routing, and switching.
- Experience with routers, switches, and gateways.
- Familiarity with network monitoring and diagnostic tools.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex network issues and implement solutions.
- Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical collaboration.
