Role Overview
The employer is seeking a Telecommunications Specialist on a contract basis.
The role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining telecommunications systems and infrastructure.
The position requires expertise in network architecture, systems integration, and troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and optimize VoIP, SIP, and PSTN telecommunications networks.
- Integrate telecommunications solutions with existing IT infrastructure.
- Perform network monitoring, diagnostics, and issue resolution.
- Configure and manage routers, switches, gateways, and related hardware.
- Document network configurations, policies, and procedures.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- At least three years of experience in telecommunications engineering or a related field.
- Proficiency in VoIP, SIP, and PSTN protocols and technologies.
- Strong knowledge of network architecture, routing, and switching.
- Experience with routers, switches, and gateways.
- Familiarity with network monitoring and diagnostic tools.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex network issues and implement solutions.
- Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical collaboration.
Compensation
- The stated payout is $20-$75 per hour.
