A client is seeking a Telecommunications Expert for contract work.
The role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining telecommunications systems and infrastructure.
The position requires expertise in network architecture, system integration, and troubleshooting.
Location and Work Arrangement
- The role is remote and described as work from anywhere.
Compensation
- The payout is $20–$75 per hour.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and optimize telecommunications networks, including VoIP, SIP, and PSTN systems.
- Integrate telecommunications solutions with existing IT infrastructure in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Monitor networks, perform diagnostics, and resolve issues to minimize downtime and maximize reliability.
- Configure and manage routers, switches, gateways, and other telecommunications hardware.
- Document network configurations, policies, and procedures for internal and external stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- At least three years of experience in telecommunications engineering or a related field.
- Proficiency in VoIP, SIP, and PSTN protocols and technologies.
- Strong knowledge of network architecture, routing, and switching.
- Experience with routers, switches, gateways, and other telecommunications hardware.
- Familiarity with network monitoring and diagnostic tools.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex network issues and implement solutions.
- Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical collaboration.
