Position Overview
Appz Solutions is seeking a Senior Tekla Checker with strong expertise in structural steel detailing and checking.
The role reviews Tekla models, drawings, and fabrication deliverables for accuracy, quality, constructability, and compliance with project specifications and AISC standards.
The position is located in Bangalore and requires at least 6 years of relevant experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Review Tekla Structures models for accuracy and completeness.
- Check GA, fabrication or shop, erection, and assembly drawings in detail.
- Verify dimensions, member sizes, connections, materials, and quantities.
- Check models and drawings against engineering documents and project specifications.
- Ensure compliance with AISC standards and project requirements.
- Identify clashes, modeling errors, detailing issues, and discrepancies.
- Coordinate with modelers, detailers, engineers, and project managers to resolve issues.
- Review connections for constructability and fabrication requirements.
- Provide corrections and feedback to modelers and detailers.
- Perform final quality checks and support project quality procedures and timelines.
- Manage multiple projects and prioritize work according to deadlines.
