The Technology Support Engineer resolves incidents and problems across multiple business system components.
The role supports operational stability, change implementation, troubleshooting documentation, and vendor coordination.
Required Technical Skills
- SD-WAN operations is required.
- Knowledge of network infrastructure and security principles related to wide area network technologies is required.
- Incident management, problem resolution, change implementation, and cross-functional operational support experience are required.
Preferred Technical Skills
- Experience with Palo Alto Networks Firewalls is advantageous.
- Experience with Fortinet FortiGate Firewall is advantageous.
Experience and Education
- The role requires at least 7.5 years of experience in SD-WAN operations.
- A minimum of 15 years of full-time education is required.
Responsibilities
- Resolve incidents and problems, coordinate with vendors, and support service management teams with issue analysis and resolution.
- Create and implement Requests for Change and update knowledge base articles.
- Monitor operational stability, identify improvements, and minimize service disruptions.
- Serve as a subject matter expert, contribute to team decisions, and guide junior team members.
