Role Overview
Identify, assess, manage, and mitigate technology risks across the organization.
Align IT systems, processes, and controls with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and industry practices.
Maintain an effective technology risk posture while supporting operational efficiency and resilience.
Risk Management and Governance
- Maintain the IT risk management framework, policies, procedures, and emerging risk policy.
- Conduct risk assessments, scenario analysis, control evaluations, and independent control testing.
- Maintain risk registers, track remediation plans, and ensure timely issue closure.
- Monitor incidents, perform root cause analysis, and oversee corrective and preventive actions.
Compliance and Resilience
- Ensure compliance with global standards and CBUAE regulations.
- Support internal and external audits, manage findings, and drive remediation.
- Partner with cybersecurity teams to assess information security risks.
- Evaluate business continuity, disaster recovery, incident response, vulnerability, and penetration testing capabilities.
