Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position for a Calypso Developer to be located in Dubai, UAE to be part of our team working with a prestigious banking client on various Calypso related projects.

The Calypso Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and integrating Calypso solutions.

Day-to-day tasks will include configuring and customizing the Calypso platform, developing interfaces, troubleshooting technical issues, and collaborating with team members to deliver seamless solutions for clients.

Engaging actively in system testing, technical analysis, and enhancements will also form a core part of the role.

Qualifications

Proficiency in developing and customizing the Calypso platform and implementing upgrades or add-ons.
Strong skills in software development and coding using Java, SQL, and related technologies.
Experience in integrating APIs and working with middleware interfaces.
Knowledge of financial products such as derivatives, bonds, FX, and other capital market instruments is preferred.
Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex system issues.
Excellent communication skills, teamwork, and collaborative abilities.
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related disciplines is required.
Must have:
Good experience in java development and calypso customization
Devops in calypso - Gradle
Integration, upstream and downstream system - FIX, Microservices, KAFKA
Experience in Front office, back office, middle office, and risk
Mostly on technical side and integration – should know customization side
Treasury mandatory products : FX and IRD
Calypso architecture is mandatory
Calypso version required – 16, 17 and 18
Experience in Workflow and engine configuration
Good to have
Experience in cloud and AI based development
