Role Description
- Responsible for proper cleaning, disinfection, sterilization, and assembly of surgical instrument sets for orthopedic procedures.
- Check instruments for completeness and functionality.
- Document sterilization processes according to applicable standards.
- Work closely with surgical staff and logistics to ensure timely availability.
- Adhere to hygiene guidelines, maintain sterilization equipment, and support process optimization.
Qualifications
- Expertise in instrument reprocessing and sterilization, ideally with experience in central sterile supply or operating room environment.
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and procedures, especially in orthopedics.
- Careful working style, strong quality and hygiene awareness.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to work in shifts, physical resilience, and responsibility in handling sensitive medical devices.
- Completed technical, medical technical, or nursing training is an advantage; knowledge of relevant standards (e.g., ISO, AAMI) and English skills are desirable.
