About the Role
Olymel is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician for its Brampton facility. You will perform microbiological, chemical, and organoleptic testing on finished products, verify QC inspector work, and support operations.

Responsibilities
- Perform microbiological, chemical and organoleptic testing on all finished products produced as required by customer
- Provide verification of the work of QC Inspectors and identify potential areas which may adversely affect product quality or safety
- Provide support to operations where required
- Perform other duties as assigned by QA Supervisor or QA Manager such as projects, CI improvement initiatives and relevant HACCP Periodic or Prerequisite Audits
- Perform daily pre op record compliance verification when required
- Perform at least weekly onsite pre op inspection verification to ensure compliance when required
- Issue Deviation Reports when required for pre op non conformances
Requirements
- Experience in quality assurance or related field
- Knowledge of microbiological, chemical, and organoleptic testing
- Ability to work alternate shifts and beyond regular 40 hours when needed

- To ensure the safety and quality of Olymel products by performing microbiological, chemical and organoleptic testing on all finished products produced as required by customer
- To provide verification of the work of QC Inspectors and identify potential areas which may adversely affect product quality or safety
- To provide support to operations where required
- Required to perform other duties as assigned by QA Supervisor or QA Manager such as projects, CI improvement initiatives and relevant HACCP Periodic or Prerequisite Audits
- Must be flexible to work alternate shifts when required to cover for vacation and absenteeism as needed
- QA support will be required beyond the regular 40 hours when business demand QA coverage
- Perform daily pre op record compliance verification when required.
- Perform at least weekly onsite pre op inspection verification to ensure compliance when required.
- Issue Deviation Reports when required for pre op non conformances when required.
