Get to Know the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Retail IT Deployment Specialist to lead and facilitate hardware setups, system installations, and operational tech support across our store network. In this role, you will leverage hands-on expertise in MDM, networking hardware, and endpoint troubleshooting to power new store openings and maintain high-performing retail systems. Serving as a crucial liaison between store operations, external logistics vendors, and cross-functional technology teams, you will oversee ticket queues and vendor delivery to ensure seamless operations and minimal downtime across all locations.
What You’ll Do
Facilitate IT hardware deployments across stores, ensuring smooth setup, installation, and functioning of IT systems
Communicate and coordinate with vendors for timely and accurate delivery and installation of IT assets.
Provide incident management support monitoring and managing ticket queues related to IT hardware repairs, ensuring quick resolution to minimize downtime.
Collaborate actively with cross-functional teams such as Networking, IT Security, Operations, Help Desk, and POS Support to ensure integrated IT support for retail stores.
Actively participate in new store opening and deployment projects, ensuring all IT requirements are met promptly and efficiently.
Monitor and address IT hardware-related queries, providing timely solutions to the retail teams.
What You Bring
Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field or a minimum of 3 years of experience in IT hardware deployment and support, preferably in a retail environment. Relevant IT certifications are a plus.
Proficiency in IT applications such as AirWatch MDM, JIRA, Cisco Meraki, Active Directory, iOS/Mobile Support, Active Directory, Windows Server, and Google Workspace.
Familiarity with endpoint management basics and advanced troubleshooting methodologies.
Understanding of networking technologies(APs, Routers, Switches) and server management
Solid understanding of logistics, inventory management, and hardware shipment & receiving. (FedEx, UPS, USPS).
Demonstrated customer service experience
Demonstrated problem solving experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Emphasis on effective communication and collaboration with external vendors and cross-functional teams.
