IES Communications is hiring a Technician II - Security Systems to program and install security systems including card access, CCTV, CATV, and intrusion systems. Candidates need at least 2 years of commercial security experience, proficiency with hand tools, and the ability to supervise a crew.

Responsibilities
- Program and install security systems (card access, CCTV, CATV, intrusion) per manufacturer requirements and engineered drawings
- Coordinate small groups of installers in daily workload
- Assume responsibility for effective performance of crew and provide necessary training
- Assist in completion of all IES COMMERCIAL paperwork accurately and on time (timesheets, material transfers, work orders, change orders, tool transfers)
- Adhere to and participate in all Company, customer and industry quality and safety standards
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED equivalency
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial security systems or related telecommunications field
- Ability to supervise others
- Proficiency with basic hand tools and multimeter, butt set, toner/wand, coax compression tool
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to interpret blueprints and project documents
- Knowledge of universal communications color codes
- Must meet Company minimum driving standards

Job Summary
- The Technician II Security Systems must possess the ability to program and install security systems (Card Access, CCTV, CATV and Intrusion systems) per manufacturer requirements and engineered drawings.
- The Technician II Security Systems will coordinate small groups of installers in the performance of daily workload including adherence to Company safety and quality standards.
Job Duties And Responsibilities
- Program and install security systems (card access, CCTV, CATV and intrusion systems) per manufacturer requirements and engineered drawings
- Assume responsibility for effective performance of crew and provide necessary training, coordinate personnel and timeline to complete project
- Assist in the completion of all IES COMMERCIAL paperwork accurately and on time (timesheets, material transfers, work orders, change orders, tool transfers and others as required)
- Adhere to and participate in all Company, customer and industry quality and safety standards and regulations
- Complete other responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications
- Must possess at least a High School diploma or GED equivalency
- Must possess a minimum of two (2) years of experience in commercial security systems or related telecommunications field and demonstrate the ability to supervise others
- Must know or possess the knowledge to learn Company/industry codes
- Must possess and be proficient with the listed tools
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Must have proven skill level to interpret blueprints and other project documents
- Must know the universal communications color codes
- Must meet Company minimum driving standards
Compensation
- Min USD $20.00/Hr.
- Max USD $35.00/Hr.
