Technician Helper

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Follows all company safety and quality procedures
• Certified to operate Forklift
• Cleaning, blasting, and painting valve components
• Return Valves/Parts to Proper Bins, Boxes, etc.
• Operate equipment (overhead hoist, blaster, parts washer, torch, etc.)
• May be required to disassemble valve without damaging parts per the manufacturer’s Installation & Operation Manual
• May be required to document and enter job data into applicable database and document photos
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Maintain equipment in area, as required
• May be required to help in field assignments
• May be required to climb and work at various elevations depending on job scope
• May be required operate motor vehicle
• Attend job and safety training, as necessary or required

Positional Requirements & Qualifications

• Education & Experience High school diploma or GED equivalent (preferred) Current or up-to-date TWIC (preferred) Current Basic OSHA Safety Training (preferred) Job specific degree and/or certification (preferred)

• Skills & Abilities Safety and quality-minded Basic mechanical aptitude including, but not limited to, basic hand and power tool knowledge Basic computer knowledge Organized and detail-oriented Demonstrate effective time management skills

• Ability to travel and have a clear driving record in accordance to company driving guidelines
